Mit der ersten Women‘s* Empowerment Convention am 22.11.2023 im Atlantic Hotel Münster stärken wir die Repräsentanz und Sichtbarkeit von Frauen* in Unternehmertum, Gründungsszene, Führung und Innovation und zeigen ihre Leistungen und ihre Potenziale für die Innovationskultur. Die Veranstaltung wird im Hochschulverbund der Universität Münster und der FH Münster unter dem Dach des REACH – EUREGIO Start-up Centers organisiert und in Zusammenarbeit mit regionalen und überregionalen Organisationen durchgeführt.
Die Women’s* Empowerment Convention teilt sich in zwei Teile: Tagsüber erwarten euch eine inspirierende Keynote von Tijen Onaran sowie spannende Workshops mit zahlreichen Expert*innen. Abends könnt ihr euch auf eine abwechslungsreiche Podiumsdiskussion mit außerordentlichen Speaker*innen zum Thema „New Work, EqualPay, Work-Life-Blending: Verändern neue Arbeitsbedingungen die Chancen von Frauen*?“ freuen.
Ihr könnt euch sowohl nur für die Tages- oder Abendveranstaltung anmelden oder aber euch direkt ein Kombi-Ticket für den gesamten Tag sichern. Für euer leibliches Wohl ist ganztägig gesorgt, alle Speisen und Getränke sind inklusive.
Wir von der Women's* Empowerment Convention sind davon überzeugt, dass jede und jeder überall dazu beitragen kann, einen Wandel hin zu mehr Geschlechtergerechtigkeit auf allen Ebenen der Gesellschaft herbeizuführen. Geschlechtergerechtigkeit ist nicht nur ein grundlegendes Menschenrecht, sondern auch eine notwendige Grundlage für eine friedliche, soziale, und nachhaltige Welt. Wir heißen alle – unabhängig ihrer Geschlechtsidentität- willkommen, die diese Überzeugung teilen.

With the first Women's* Empowerment Convention on November 22, 2023 at the Atlantic Hotel Münster, we strengthen the representation and visibility of women* in entrepreneurship, start-up scene, leadership and innovation and showcase their achievements and their potentials for the innovation culture. The event is organized in the higher education network of the University of Münster and the FH Münster University of Applied Sciences under the roof of the REACH – EUREGIO Start-up Center and is realized in cooperation with regional and supra-regional organizations.
The Women's* Empowerment Convention is divided into two parts: During the day, you can look forward to an inspiring keynote speech by Tijen Onaran and exciting workshops with numerous experts. In the evening, you can expect a diverse panel discussion with extraordinary speakers on the topic of "New Work, EqualPay, Work-Life-Blending: Are new working conditions changing the opportunities for women*?
You can register for either the daytime or evening event, or you can purchase a combined ticket for the entire day. Food and drinks will be provided for you all day long and are included.
International guests are welcome: During the workshop phases, 4 workshops will always take place in parallel - two in German and two in English. The keynote and the discussion will be in German, but there will always be an English subtitle.
At Women’s* Empowerment Convention, we believe that everyone, everywhere can play a part in achieving transformative change for gender equity at all levels of society. Gender equity is not only a fundamental human right, but a necessary foundation for a peaceful, prosperous and sustainable world.
