• Poster Slam

During the Poster Slam, pre-recorded 1-minute videos will be shown in which Junior Scientists creatively explain their research work to the entire audience in order to draw more attention to their posters during the poster sessions and increase their chances of winning one of the three poster prizes.

• Audience: All participants are welcome
• Video submitters: Junior Scientists (doctoral student or postdoc < 4 years post-graduation) with a poster presentation

The Poster Slam slots will be divided:
Poster Slam I     Monday, October 5th, 2026      6:00 7:00 pm CEST
Poster Slam II    Tuesday, October 6th, 2026     11:10 am 12:00 noon CEST

 

Please be aware that the preliminary program is subject to minor changes without prior announcement.

Video requirements

  • Amount: one video per Junior Scientist presenting a poster
  • Length: max. 1 minute
  • File type: .mp4 or .avi or .wmv
  • Format: 16:9 (landscape)
  • Quality: full HD (1920×1080 px) or HD (1280×720 px)
  • Audio track: included in video
  • Identification: your abstract ID
  • Design: there are no limits to your creativity

 

The deadline for submitting the video and the requirements listed above will also be announced separately in the "Acceptance of your Poster” email.
