We are pleased to announce that we are awarding 10 travel grants for young scientists from Latin America to participate in the symposium and to share their expertise and research results.
Regarding funding, the symposium intends to focus on different regions of the world in future years. This year, the focus is on Latin America. With this in mind, we are promoting young scientists from this region in particular.

Target groups
Postdocs and PhD
· the PhD should have a maximum of 5 years research experience since completing the PhD
· parental leave is creditable, i.e. it is added to the period of research work
Requirements
· applicants must be working at a recognized scientific institution outside Germany
· the research focus must be in the field of One Health
· the selected researchers are expected to play an active role in the symposium (i.e., poster presentation)h

Finances
The costs for the flights, the visa, the hotel during the symposium (3th to 8th October) and the participation fee are covered by this travel grant. Only costs incurred after confirmation of the travel grant can be covered!
Application deadline
All documents must be submitted by June 22nd, 2026
Criteria
Applications will be evaluated based on the scientific quality of the abstract, the relevance of the research to the topic of One Health and the applicant's potential contribution to the symposium.
Award of the travel grants
Selected scholarship recipients will be notified by the end of June/early July and will receive all further information thereafter.
